Jessica Cooper, private investigator, search-and-rescue volunteer, wife, mom, and dog handler investigates the ex-wife of a lawyer, Brett Hudgins. He thinks she’s abusing their children and he wants full custody. Jess thinks maybe Brett’s just controlling. But sure enough, something’s fishy in Brittany’s life.
